My snail ALMOST DIED!!

AHHHHHH! Okay…. Anyways, I kept my snail in a seperate tank because me and my dad is gonna clean the fishtank and part of cleaning the fishtank is mixing the fish’s medicine in with the new water, and the snails might die from the chemicals that the medicine have… so anyways, yeah, we seperated the snails and apparently me and my family had to go to this party and me being myself, I forgot about the snails, so one of my snail got off (zebra nerite snail) and at least the apple snail didn’t excape, but still, so when I came home, I ran to the fish tank and saw only one snail, and my heart started beating SOO hard that I could almost hear it…

I searched everywhere until I found it lying just beneath the toilet bowl, dehydrated and closed tight (VERY tight), so I took it and rushed to the sink which is very near to the toilet bowl and washed the snail with water very worried that it must have died off, but wait! I saw the shells door opening a bit, and that my friends was a sign that the snail was still ALIVE! and I gave a sigh of relief and released the two snails back into their “original” fish tank…

* Tortoises can live up to 100-200 years (though I’m not really sure about the 200 part)

* Tortoises can hibernate for several months or even years!

* Tortoises are cute

* Tortoises are strictly vegetarians

* Tortoises can form bonds with their owners

* One time, a man trained his turtle (after 10 years or training)

* Tortoises make cute sounds when they mate

Their just soooo cute…

But there are some things you have to consider before you get one your own:

1. They live for a long time (literally), so get ready for the commitment for they may outlive you

2. They might get boring (for you!)

3. They need a heater and Vitamin D

4. They are solitary but you could buy 2 or more

5. They eat hay to get fiber so they could digest their food

6. Their a big mess!

7. They grow HUGE! especially sulcata tortoises, so you need to know the breed before you get one.

Heylo!! Me and my parents watched the Hunger Games and it seems as I’ve watched it before since I read the book already… the movie was AWESOME:)

Okay so 2 days ago, I bought 5 neon tetras and saw a cute lil’ tortoise, then just yesterday, me and my classmates had a field trip to burj Khalifa, went ice skating for 2 hours, and ate Big Mac with french frise and coke for only 125 dhs, which seems fair enough It was sooo freakin’ fun!! But I don’t have pictures for now since |’m in school (computer lab) and I have no USB to connect the pictures we caught yesterday, soo maybe just an update when I get home BYEEE Love you guys
