Just like everyone else.

I’m always so different from everyone else.

I don’t seem to fit in.

I always get bullied.

Blinking rapidly to keep my tears in place.

Being laughed at and teased.

There’s nothing I can do to make them pleased.

But I’m intelligent enough to know that I am nothing like them.

It’s better keep it that way.

But I have always wanted to fit in,

I have always wanted to have at least one similar trait.

So I tell myself…

I am unique… Just like everyone else.
