In the middle of the road, at the dark starling night.
I stare at the stars and the bright city lights.
The howls of the wind, the cool rush of air,
the way the wind dances with my dark brown hair.
The smell of gas, the honk of cars,
I feel that home, seems very far.
Though from the loneliness and pain I feel today,
I know that God is with me, in every way.
