Weekly Psalm || Beautiful

I dedicate this song for the hurting, the self-conscious, and the lost 🙂 Here’s a song by MercyMe. I hope that this beautiful song would uplift your hearts and keep you going strong in yourself and in the LORD.

Lyrics:

The days will come when you don’t have the strength
When all you hear is you’re not worth anything
Wondering if you ever could be loved
And if they truly saw your heart, they’d see too much

You’re beautiful
You’re beautiful
You are made so much more than all of this
You’re beautiful
You’re beautiful
You are treasured, you are sacred, you are His
You’re beautiful

And praying that you have the heart to find
Cause you are more than what is hurting you tonight
For all the lies you’ve held inside so long
And they are nothing in the shadow of the cross

You’re beautiful
You’re beautiful
You are made so much more than all of this
You’re beautiful
You’re beautiful
You are treasured, you are sacred, you are His
You’re beautiful

Before you ever took a breath
Long before the world began
Of all the wonders He possessed
There was one more precious
Of all the earth and skies above
You’re the one He madly loves
Enough to die

You’re beautiful
You’re beautiful
In His eyes

You’re beautiful
You were meant for so much more than all of this
You’re beautiful
You are treasured, you are sacred, you are His
You’re beautiful
You’re beautiful
You’re meant for so much more than all of this
You’re beautiful
You’re beautiful
You are treasured, you are sacred, you are His

Song of The Week || I Asked You For Life

This song just uplifts my soul and gives me so much joy, as if God was tickling me with His soft whisper through this praise. 🙂 And I hope it gives you that same joy. Just trade all your sorrows and cares unto the Lord in exchange for His joy and love (Psalm 55:22). He would be happy to do so!

– Mary

Lyrics:

[Verse 1]
I asked You for life, and You sent your son to die for me.
I asked You for hope, You came in the night and gave me a dream.
I asked You for freedom, You broke every chain and gave me the keys.
I asked You for love never-ending and every day You surround me!

[Pre-Chorus]
And now my faith in You is a mountain that can’t be shaken,
Now my strength is found in You, it is joy that can’t be taken!

[Chorus 1]
Praise spills from my lips, flowing onto the feet of You, my King.
You deserve all the love and all the honor that I can bring!

Here is my song, here is my heart, here is my love, all for You, Jesus!

Song of The Week || Just One of Those Days

An uplifting song for those who feel troubled and worrisome. When the storm comes in, say ‘Hallelujah anyway’ cause at the end of the day, the sun will shine and the Lord will always reign!

It’s just one of those days,
When everything’s right.
God is in His heaven and a-walking in the Light.
So Hallelujah anyway,
It’s just one of those days 🙂

Lyrics:

Woke up to the pouring rain
Stumbled out of bed with half a brain
Twenty minutes late for work again
But it’s alright, it’s alright
No time for coffee, gotta hit the door
Grab a shirt from off the floor
Never noticed it was stained before
But it’s alright, it’s alright
Oh, but nothing’s gonna bring me down
No, not now

CHORUS
It’s just one of those days
When everything’s right
God is in his heaven and I’m walking in the light
So hallelujah anyway
It’s just one of those days
You look at the sky
Throw your hands up and you laugh at life
So hallelujah, Lord be praised
[ From: http://www.elyrics.net ]

It’s just one of those days

The boss calls…yeah, I know I’m late
I had a flat on the interstate
Tell the man that he can wait
Don’t get uptight, it’s alright
Hold on…there’s another call for me
No, I didn’t buy a diamond ring
Somebody stole my identity
Hey it’s alright, it’s alright
Oh, but nothing’s gonna lay me low
Cause I know

CHORUS
So come on rain, lightning strike
Just you try to shake my life
You got no power, you got no hold
Cause it is well with my soul

CHORUS
So hallelujah, Lord be praised
It’s just one of those days

We had a simple gathering with the Pastor and a few church mates at this cool pizza restaurant. It was such a nice and warm (well in reality it was really cold, but I what I meant was that I felt warm) outing. I had this delicious plate filled with pizza, a cool ice tea drink, and a wonderful book to read (special thanks to my Aunt Yen). The title of this book is “A Prisoner And Yet…” and in the back it is written “A Mighty Fortress”.

It’s a true story of this woman named Corrie ten Boom who experienced pain, hunger, harassment, humiliation… and yet, even imprisoned and treated in the most horrible way, she felt peaceand freedom. Just by knowing that the Lord is by her side, calmness surrounds her. Remembering how much Jesus suffered for the world. Nothing could compare. This book is simply beautiful, true, and uplifting. I recommend all of you to read this wonderful book! and if you want, you could add a touch of pizza and buffalo wings. 🙂

That’s What It Says!

That’s What It Says!. – Re-blog from “Morning Thought”

lake of fireMatt 5:30 – It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.

Last night Haylee & Braeden took turns reading from Matthew chapter 5.
Braeden ended up with 5:27-30. When he reached the end and read the word “hell” I looked at him and said, “That doesn’t sound good!”

Braeden pointed at the word and excitedly said, “That’s what it says!!”

Exactly! It’s what it says!

Despite how many people don’t believe that a loving God would let anyone go to hell or a lake of fire, it is taught in the Bible.

It is true that God is love (1 John 4:16) but it is also true that the Lord says, “They have provoked Me to jealousy by what is not God; They have moved Me to anger by their foolish idols.” Deut 32:21

Sin is punishable by death but God has provided a way for each person through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. (Rom 6:23)

God doesn’t want anyone to perish in hell. He prefers that all repent and receive His grace, forgiveness, love, and eternal life. (2 Pet 3:9)

Abba Father, I praise You for Your word that warns of eternal punishment. I praise You for the same word that offers salvation to everyone.
Remind me often of my responsibility to share both with others!
In Jesus’ name, YES&AMEN

A Touchy Conversation With My Little Sister

After our little sibling quarrel we said our Sorry’s and somehow had a conversation about me leaving to college…

Ephesians

Gab: Ate (meaning ‘elder sister’) when you’re in college chat (with) us ha!

Me: But what if there’s no internet?

Gab: Then ask your teacher how to put internet.

Me: But what if we can’t have internet.

Gab: Then you can call us.

Me: But then, what if I lost my phone?

Gab: You mean, if you don’t have load? Then borrow your classmate’s phone.

I couldn’t help but be curious into what she would say next, so I pressured her… hehe.

Me: What if everybody doesn’t have load?

Gab: Then ask God, (she said with no hesitation) He will give you load.

Gab: We’ll miss you, Ate. (She rubbed her eyes, about to cry)

I hugged her and it was a beautiful moment. It’s nice to know that you have a sister who loves and cares for you, and even better, one who draws you closer to God. I thank that Lord for giving me such a wonderful little sister, an answered prayer indeed. ~~ She even mentioned an additional “Can you write what I said, Ate? And print it to the whole world” She’s the family clown too!.. and now I’m wondering if that was all an act… Nah, it was too beautiful. If mom and dad read this, they would give me the ‘See?-you-have-a-sister-who-loves-you’ face… Haha anyway, Au Revoir my Lovelies and God bless!

Song of The Week || When Love Sees You

Tell me your story. Show me your wounds.
And I’ll show you what Love sees when Love looks at you.
Hand me the pieces, broken and bruised.
And I’ll show you what Love sees when Love sees you.

I came for your story, I came for your wounds.
To show you what loves sees, when I look at you.

1 John 4:19

We love because He first loved us.

You’ll never know true love until you know God’s love.
