That’s What It Says!

That’s What It Says!. – Re-blog from “Morning Thought”

lake of fireMatt 5:30 – It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.

Last night Haylee & Braeden took turns reading from Matthew chapter 5.
Braeden ended up with 5:27-30. When he reached the end and read the word “hell” I looked at him and said, “That doesn’t sound good!”

Braeden pointed at the word and excitedly said, “That’s what it says!!”

Exactly! It’s what it says!

Despite how many people don’t believe that a loving God would let anyone go to hell or a lake of fire, it is taught in the Bible.

It is true that God is love (1 John 4:16) but it is also true that the Lord says, “They have provoked Me to jealousy by what is not God; They have moved Me to anger by their foolish idols.” Deut 32:21

Sin is punishable by death but God has provided a way for each person through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. (Rom 6:23)

God doesn’t want anyone to perish in hell. He prefers that all repent and receive His grace, forgiveness, love, and eternal life. (2 Pet 3:9)

Abba Father, I praise You for Your word that warns of eternal punishment. I praise You for the same word that offers salvation to everyone.
Remind me often of my responsibility to share both with others!
In Jesus’ name, YES&AMEN

Oprah Winfrey, a Christian?

To most people, this has been both shocking and “un-believable” considering that she has had a lot of debates according to God, atheism, religion, etc,. and people are wondering whether she really is a Christian or if there is a little secret behind her message. *dun dun DUN*

I just want you to remember that, nobody will truly know what is inside a person’s heart but God. Let me share with you a little passage in a book I read called “Our Daily Bread” .

Sometimes when I want to start a fire, the wind puts it out. But when I try to keep a fire burning, the wind keeps it going. So in the first situation, I label wind “bad” because it thwarts my plans; in the other, I label it “good” because it helps me accomplish what I want to get done. ,,, But God is the One who determines what is good or bad, and He does so not by how it affects our plans but by whether or not it accomplishes His. – Julie Ackerman Link.

1 Peter 2:17 Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.

So, is Oprah Winfrey really a Christian? or is it all an act? Well, let God be the judge of that! ~~ Au Revoir my Lovelies! and God bless ❤

Why I write?

1) I write because I get to think before I type or write it down.

2) When I talk to a person, I usually stutter from thinking of some good words to add in to make me sound smarter, it usually ends up in a failure.

3) I could share things without making it sound so, boring? You know like when you dream something so scary and when you explain it to your parents you make yourself look like a cry baby.

4) I make myself look smart. Or at least I think so.

5) I don’t know  what else to type, but I did this with benevolence!

PS. I just found out that word (Benevolence)  from reading a story from watt pad, I decided I could use it to make me sound smarter, but confessing this just made me ‘look’ more dumb 😉
