Revenge is such a silly thing to do. Remember, do not let anger take over. ‘Cause once revenge starts, it won’t stop unless someone ‘Forgive and Forgets’
There was this time, where I had a friend, who was very mean to me, and I decided to myself “two can play this game” and do the same thing to her. Finally she asked “Why are you being so mean to me?” I replied “I’m just showing you how badly you treat me” and her reply?
“If I treat you badly, then why do the same?”
I didn’t answer that, but in my thoughts I said “Because I want you to feel how I feel.”
As I grew older, I found out, that if I continued acting mean, it would be a cycle of conflict and trouble.
And I would be hurting, not only her, but myself…
Romans 12:19
Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”
It is this simple, instead of doing it by yourself… Leave it all to God…
